array of raffle and silent auction items, nibbles, beer and wine, and MORE!
Sponsored by Grandaisy Bakery and Jeremy’s Ale House. Come meet some of our pastry scholars and
taste what they’ve been cooking!
This year’s comedy lineup features JORDAN CARLOS, GREG WILSON, and JANEANE
GAROFALO!
OUR BEGINNING
On July 6, 2002, Russell Ferber tragically died in a car accident at the age of 21, just as he was about to
graduate with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in
Hyde Park, NY. A year later The Russell Ferber Foundation was founded to provide a living legacy
–– funding programs that assist young people who lack the financial resources to successfully follow a
path that parallels aspects of Russell’s too short life.
MISSION
The Foundation has partnered with Culinary Careers Program (C-CAP), a non-profit organization
that provides culinary education programs in inner-city high schools around the country. The
Foundation also has a fully-endowed Scholarship at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA).
Additionally, the VCS Russell Ferber Memorial Fund at Village Community School (VCS) provides
educational and psychological support for those with learning differences.
Supporting The Russell Ferber Foundation contributes to a legacy that empowers young
people to achieve their dreams and honors the memory of a beloved individual.
Wednesday, June 25th – Doors open at 6:30 pm, Comedy show at 8:00pm

Village Community School
272 West 10th Street, NYC
