As with everything in life, over the years SEO has evolved and changed. With Panda, Penguin and countless other Google updates, what may have been relevant yesterday has become obsolete today.
It’s that time again! I am busy, busy, busy! However, I found this infographic to be filled with relevant SEO information and decided it was worth sharing. This infographic explores the top 8 practices we are seeing in SEO for 2015. It discusses the: importance of keyword conversational phrases, ROI, HTTPS security transitions, content as king, social media shares, brand mentions for link building, mobile friendly (responsive) websites and visual elements and their importance to your content.
No matter how awesome your marketing may be, you’ll never achieve maximum results until you tie your marketing channels together.
It’s easy to use social media to boost your SEO campaign, and it’s easy to use organic SEO to boost your email list signups. It can be a lot more difficult to use your offline marketing to boost your online marketing.
Difficult does not mean impossible though, and it’s definitely worth the effort. The key is identifying your goal, and then tailoring your marketing efforts in each channel to achieve that goal.
As a writer, one of the most unfortunate experiences I have dealt with is, feeling like you have written pure gold, but not having an audience to appreciate it. It can become frustrating when you have poured your heart, soul, research and knowledge, into a project without receiving any feedback or social shares. It might leave you questioning, Why aren’t people reading my blog?
